Bangalow Town

The quaint, fashionable town of Bangalow is located in the hinterlands of Northern New South Wales, just a short drive from the beautiful beaches and live music venues of Byron Bay. You’ll find Bangalow’s main streets lined with modern café’s, award winning restaurants and boutique shops, but the town has lost none of its local charms and takes great pride in its pioneering heritage. The towns name appears to be derived from an Aboriginal word, “Bangalla” meaning a “low hill” or a kind of palm tree.
